Mello Lane is now the official name of the main road that runs along the ocean in Scorpion Bay, Baja Sur Mexico. The small remote fishing village some 800 plus miles deep into the hinterlands of Baja welcomed us from Mello Lane to name the road. This historic road christening party commenced at sunset October 22, 2004 with a twirling breaking "ballena" bottle of PACIFICO beer. The signs were forged out of USA steel at our own San Quentin Maximum Security Prison near San Francisco. Many of the towns colorful locals and visitors got to participate in the fiesta ceremony with super tasty indigenous cuisine catered by the infamous SNAKES bar and grill. (see Baja Mexico Designs)

We would like to thank all the people of Scorpion Bay for allowing us to name their road and for making this happen. We are very honored. Pura Vida.....Vida Tranquila......Mello Lane :)
